Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Tonya Hammonds

I am a native of Albany, GA.  In 2001, I began my educational journey as a
5th grade teacher at Howard Elementary School.  I have taught in
the Hamilton County school district for 18 years. During my time in the school
district, I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades.
I worked as a Literacy Leader for two years, also.

I have one son (David).  My husband (Michael) works for the City of Chattanooga, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family.
