Hello My Name Is...

Shaina Clendenin

This is my 2nd year at Orchard Knob Elementary and my 1st year in 2nd grade! I graduated from Lee University in 2009 with a BA in Psychology. Several years later, and  after having a child of my own, I realized I loved encouraging children to explore what makes them curious and coming up with fun and creative ways to do so. This led me to becoming a resident with Project Inspire for a year in a 1st grade classroom while obtaining a MA in Teaching from Lee university. 
When I'm not teaching I love to adventure with my husband (Eli) and daughter (Lakshmi). We can often be found at the beach and I hope to bring a little tropical vibes to our 2nd grade classroom this year!
