Hello My Name Is...

Molly Elizabeth Gadd

“One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.” - Malala Yousafzai

My love for teaching has existed for as long as I can remember. Everyday I would come home from school, straight up to my play classroom. My mom, a teacher herself, saw early on that I was destined to be a teacher. She and my dad provided me with an entire play classroom, desks, podium, cubbies, books, projector, you name it. It is in that classroom that I spent limitless hours playing "teacher." Looking back, those years were full of creativity and spark, both of which I strive to utilize in the classroom everyday.

I am a Chattanooga native, growing up in a small community called Falling Water. I attended Saint Jude Elementary and Notre Dame High School, and went out to seek my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I graduated in 2018 and began my job at OKES. This is my second school year at OKES where I teach third grade.

While I am very passionate about teaching, I am also passionate about dogs, long naps, summertime, and mostly my family. This summer I welcomed my first child, Breeze and we could not be more excited.
