My name is Ms. Wachtveitl and I teach 1st Grade here at OKES!

Welcome once again! My name is Ms. Wachtveitl (pronounced Walk-vital, which is how I teach my students to say my name). It's really not as hard as it looks! Here is just a little background information about myself: I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2016. I am a Chattanooga native and graduate of Hamilton County Schools. This school year marks my third year teaching at Orchard Knob Elementary. I taught 3rd Grade for two years and now I am transitioning to 1st Grade! New year, new adventures! I am excited to meet all of my new students and can't wait to see how much they grow this year!
