We have had a great week of learning. Thank you for allowing your child to participate in our Read Across America Week! It was wonderful to see our students excited about reading, showing creativity with the daily themes, and celebrating literacy together. Your support helped make the week truly special for our Lions. 📚

👕 Uniform Reminder
Students will return to regular school uniforms on Monday, March 9.

📊 Quarter 3 Snapshots
Our 3rd–5th-grade students did an excellent job during their Quarter 3 Reading and Social Studies Snapshots. We are proud of their effort and focus.

Students will continue testing next week:

Math and Science Snapshots: Monday–Wednesday

Please help ensure students get a good night’s rest and arrive at school on time and ready to do their best.

🥫 Mobile Food Pantry – Thursday, March 12
Our Mobile Food Pantry will be available for families who would like to receive groceries.

⏰ Half Day – Friday, March 13
Students will be dismissed at 11:20 AM. We know early dismissal days can sometimes be challenging for families. If this creates a conflict for your family, please communicate with your child’s teacher so we can support you.

☀️ Summer Reach Registration
Registration for Summer Reach is now open through PowerSchool.

Dates: June 1 – June 26 (Closed June 19 for the holiday)

Time: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM daily

Location: Orchard Knob Elementary will serve all Rising Kindergarten through Rising 5th grade students from Orchard Knob and Hardy.

If transportation is needed, please register before May 2 through PowerSchool. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school.

🌷 Spring Break
Spring Break will be March 16–23. Students will return to school on March 24.
