The 2026–27 school year is almost here!
To help every Lion begin the year prepared, organized, and ready to learn, we have gathered all of our grade-level school supply lists in one convenient location. Below, families can review the supply lists for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first through fifth grades.
Please review the list for your child’s grade carefully. Requested quantities, colors, brands, and classroom procedures may differ by grade level.
PreK Supply List
The Pre-K supply list includes classroom supplies, nap-time items, a complete change of clothes, and materials students will use for practice at home.
Important Pre-K reminder: Backpacks are not used in the Pre-K classroom. Students will use labeled gallon-size storage bags to keep their belongings organized.
Kindergarten Supply List
Kindergarten students will need learning tools and shared classroom supplies, including crayons, pencils, folders, glue sticks, tissues, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, and storage bags.
Families should pay close attention to requested folder colors and the directions regarding thin, black dry-erase markers.
1st Grade Supply List
The first-grade list includes classroom essentials such as glue sticks, crayons, markers, a composition notebook, folders, tissues, wipes, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and storage bags.
The list also requests four solid-color, three-prong folders with pockets.
2nd Grade Supply List
Second-grade students will need pencils, folders, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, a pencil box, a composition notebook, tissues, disinfectant wipes, and storage bags.
The second-grade list also includes a brief reminder about Orchard Knob Elementary’s student dress-code expectations.
3rd Grade Supply List
The third-grade supply list includes personal learning materials, organizational tools, classroom cleaning supplies, paper products, folders, sheet protectors, highlighters, and storage bags.
Please review the checklist carefully for specific folder requirements and requested bag sizes.
4th Grade Supply List
Fourth-grade students will need a core collection of writing, organizational, and creative supplies. Requested items include pencils, cap erasers, a folder, colored pencils, glue sticks, a composition notebook, wide-ruled paper, a pencil pouch, tissues, and hand sanitizer.
5th Grade Supply List
The 5th Grade supply list is organized into four categories:
- The Basics
- Writing and Learning
- Art and Creativity
- Classroom Health
Important fifth-grade reminder: Supplies will be shared as a classroom community. Families are asked not to bring personalized supply boxes or additional individual pouches beyond the items requested by the grade-level teachers.
Helpful Back-to-School Reminders
Please purchase the quantities and specific colors or brands included on your child’s grade-level list.
Label personal belongings such as backpacks, clothing, nap-time items, and reusable containers unless the grade-level list indicates that supplies will be shared.
Families may also wish to keep receipts until the beginning of school in case a teacher provides an update.
Please review Orchard Knob Elementary’s current student dress code before purchasing school clothing and shoes.
