Student Registration at Orchard Knob Elementary
Orchard Knob Elementary will host an in-person student registration event on Monday, August 3, 2026. Families may attend during either of the two registration sessions listed below.
Our team will be available to help families complete the registration process, review required documents, and prepare students for a successful start to the new school year.
What should families bring?
Registration requirements vary depending on whether your child is a new student entering Hamilton County Schools or a returning HCS student. Please review the appropriate checklist before coming to registration.
New HCS Students
Please bring the following documents:
- Two proofs of residence showing the parent or guardian’s current address
- Parent or guardian driver’s license or state-issued identification
- Current Tennessee immunization certificate
- Proof of a physical examination completed within the past 12 months on a Tennessee medical form
- Student’s birth certificate, if available
Returning HCS Students
Please bring the following:
- Two current proofs of residence
- Any updated immunization records
Families should also complete Returning Student Registration and update any student or household information that has changed.
