Wendy Scruggs

I am dedicated, determined, and intuitive educator with 23 years in Hamilton County Schools. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University. I received my Master's degree from Tusculum College. Throughout the years of teaching, I have enjoyed teaching grades one through five.

This is my second year as the Numeracy Coach at Orchard Knob Elementary. I will support teachers and students with implementing the math curriculum. I will support teachers with Instructional and Best Practice strategies to increase student achievement by providing classroom support, using data, facilitate learning labs, and I will constantly seek new learning.

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and reading! I am looking forward to an awesome year!
