Jump Rope For Heart Kick Off - Thursday, January 19, 2017.  Jean Saunders from the American Heart Association led in the Kick Off.

February is Black History Month and Heart Month which is also OKES fundraiser for our Annual Jump Rope For Heart Event for the American Heart Association.  Jump Rope For Heart Fundraiser is January 20 - February 28, 2017.  This is a community service project for Orchard Knob Elementary.  Donations are received from family and friends.  Jump Rope Contests are held in all PE Classes.  The Top Fundraiser Winner will throw a pie in the face at Principal LaFrederick Thirkill.  The Jump Rope For Heart Celebration will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2 P.M.  Go to submit your financial support to the American Heart Association on behalf of Orchard Knob Elementary.  Last year, we raised $2100.  Our goal is $2500 this year.  Join us in saving lives.  Remember, "Be A Heart Hero" and "It's Cool to Jump at OKES!"


The Food Bank provided a Fruit and Vegetable Taste on Thursday, January 26, 2017 for 1st grade and 4th grade.  Also, fruits and vegetables are served every Tuesdays and Thursdays to our students.
